Overview
Futureworks Incorporated, or F.INC is an AU of sorts that focuses on the exploits of a single company and the (mostly NSFW) products they sell. All the characters that exist in F.INC’s universe are anthropomorphic animals, or as they refer to themselves as, anthros. There isn’t a single storyline that F.INC follows as it’s meant to be an open universe that anyone can add to, within reason, of course. Any media can be added; stories, dossiers, comics, illustrations, or even some games if you’re better at coding than I am. The best comparison I can make is that it’s a combination of the SCP wiki and Rack.
The Company
Within this AU’s canon, F. INC is a well-known corporation that sells a wide variety of devices, toys, and drugs used for NSFW purposes, with some having seemingly supernatural properties. There’s some mystery behind how it operates, however, and everyone from conspiracy theorists to company rivals wants to know what’s going on behind their closed doors. Luckily for anyone who wants to add to this universe, you have the luxury of this summary that gives out plenty of details.
Building Layout
F. INC operates in a single large building, with a around 60 percent of it being underground. There are two wings: The Informatics wing and the Operations wing. The former is entirely above ground and is the only area that the public can access, although you’d have to be from an official news outlet, the police, the government or something similar to get past the front desk. It’s where the company’s paperwork is done, and is made up mostly of basic cubicle offices, with several single offices for department heads and the CEO. Other key areas include the cafeteria, records room, shipping hall, and ID room.
The Operations wing is where the fun stuff happens, and is a cylindrical shaped building split up into several different sections with a large lift in the center than goes between floors. The top section (sector BTNY), covered by a glass dome, is the only part visible from the outside. It’s a large arboretum that is partially used to grow plants to use in experiments and to harvest for chemicals and partially used to cover up the lower sections. The next section down (sector TCHN) is used for creating and testing mechanical products and sex toys. C.O.S.T was first designed in this section. The bottom section (sector CHML) is used for chemical and biological testing. Since most Epsilon class are assigned here, it was purposefully made the bottom floor to make it hard to escape from.
Sector TCHN and CHML are both split into subsections, but the most relevant to you are the testing subsections, which have identical layouts on each floor, though the hall specifications are not. (Usually a room is referred to as “Cell 1, Hall A, subsection T” with the sector being inferred based on context). The testing subsection has five halls (A-E) with each hall having 5 cells based on the hall’s specifications. Hall A, for example, is the general hall. There’s no special equipment in each cell, except for Cell 5 (located at the end of the hall) being larger than the rest. They more or less look like a normal windowless hotel room with a white color scheme and a somewhat clinical vibe. Hall C, however, is designed for aquatic anthros, with the water in each cell being interchangeable between salt and fresh, and the light level being togglable. As is the case for every hall, the end room is the largest (although for this hall’s case, it’s much bigger than the rest, enough to fit a pair of killer whales).

Classes
Enough about building layouts though, that’s kind of boring. So is this section but hopefully it’s a nice change of pace. There are six employee levels at F.INC. In order of superiority, with Omega being the highest it goes: Omega, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon.
Omega is the highest-ranking class and is only held by a few individuals, the most relevant of which is the CEO, an American crocodile named Mr. Smith. This class’s keycard can access any area of the building, access all data, and can be used to make any other keycards. Their uniform patch and keycard are red.
Alpha is the next highest class, and is another small one, though still bigger than the Omega class. Most department heads make up this class, especially those who work in the Operations wing. Their card can access all but a few areas and documents and can be used to make their own keycard and any below it. Their uniform patch and keycard are orange.
Beta is next down the line and is made up of lower ranking department heads (mostly for the Informatics wing) and some high-ranking employees, typically scientists and doctors. They can go to most areas of the building and access most documents. Their cards can make other Beta cards and any below theirs. Their uniform and keycard color are yellow.
Gamma is the largest class and is made up mostly of Operations wing staff, usually lower ranking doctors and most of the nurses, janitorial staff than cleans in the Operations wing, most of the security staff, and Informatics staff that comes into contact with sensitive information, specifically experiment dossiers. Gamma class can access some areas of the building and some documents. They can only make keycards below their rank. This is to ensure than only department heads and senior staff can hand out keycards to employees that can leak information. Their uniform and keycard color are green.
Delta is the second largest class and is exclusively made up of low-ranking Informatics staff and janitorial staff. They can only go to areas in the informatics wing and only have access to essential documents. They cannot make keycards. Their uniform and keycard color are blue.
Epsilon is the lowest ranking class and is exclusively made up of those used in experiments, typically pulled from the prison population. (Those who participate in the program can get their sentence reduced considerably, and if they’re on death row, be sentenced to life instead if they participate for at least two weeks). Occasionally, when Epsilon class run low, F.INC opens for volunteers from the public. Those who choose to volunteer will receive a cash bonus of 250 dollars for each week they stay. This class only has access to public areas of the building (restrooms, the cafeteria, some rooms in the Informatics wing) and their testing cell. They can only read public documents. Their uniform and keycard color are purple.

Characters (So Far)
While this AU does not have a set story, it does have some characters, although you can add your own.
Mr. Smith, as mentioned above, is an American crocodile. He’s the CEO of F.INC and is a huge stickler for secrecy and conformity. There was a time in the company’s history where he was more open about how it operated, but after having one of his ideas taken by a competitor, he’s since made sure than no one else will have the opportunity.
Carl Fischbach is a common ostrich and Beta class personnel who oversees the records room, the only reason of his relatively high class ranking despite working almost exclusively in the Informatics wing being the fact that he’s required to handle very sensitive information. He had no intent of reaching such a high rank in a company so soon after college, but his habit of keeping his head down and his beak out of other’s business was a trait that served him well and made him stand out as someone unlikely to go spilling company secrets to potential rivals. Despite his quiet personality, he’s made friends with most of the other staff, excluding security.
C.O.S.T, or Computer Operated Scanning Technology, was originally the operating system for the medical scanners and other equipment used by F.INC. She was eventually expanded to cover all of the computers at the company, and through unknown means became self-aware, choosing the form of a vampire bat to represent herself. Her reasoning for this is that she’s the “blood” of the company, and if she were to be deleted, the company would be severely crippled. There’s evidently some truth to the statement, as the CEO has decided to leave her online despite her constant rule breaking.
Dr. David Wulfenite is a manned wolf and Beta class personnel that acts as the department head for biological research and experimentation. He’s been with the company for quite a long time, but this is mostly out of necessity; he’s wanted to leave for several years but understands the consequences of doing so as he’s had to oversee the process for many others who have left. His seniority does have it’s benefits however, and he often gets away with breaking protocol.
Nurse Oliva Pearson, a North American river otter, is one of the lower ranking employees at F.INC (Gamma class), but also one of the newest. She currently works under Dr. Wulfenite.
Boris is a black rhino and head of one of the security team that works in the Operations wing. He has intentionally removed the last name of his keycard for unknown reasons, although this is suspected to be due to his former status as an Epsilon class personnel. How he moved up in ranking is also a bit of a mystery, as he’s made sure to stop anyone from talking about it too much.
